The Hario V60 Buono Kettle is an obsessively engineered pour over design classic.
The crew at Hario have poured great amounts of care into the form and balance of this V60 kettle, creating a perfectly weighted device that increases your flow accuracy, creating a gratifying brewing experience. Making coffee in a dripper is made infinitely easier with a gooseneck spout kettle. The Hario V60 Coffee Drip Kettle is an inexpensive way to step-up your pourover coffee technique. And it even works on induction stoves. As the Italians say, Buono! (Except Hario is Japanese. But as far as we can tell, “buono” is not a Japanese word. So we’ll go with the Italians.)
The Hario Kettle is an all time favourite amongst coffee enthusiasts and baristas alike. Its sleek design and carefully constructed spout means it gives a precise pour-over for all your drip coffee needs. Not only does this make a perfect companion to the Hario V60 Dripper, it compliments any pour-over coffee.
It’s design allows to you to keep absolute control of your water rate which is essential to maintaining an even and steady pour. For those unfamiliar with the V60 Brewing Method it requires an even circular pour, best measured using a set of scales. Allow your coffee to bloom by pouring a small amount of water over the coffee and let it sit for around 15-20 seconds to bring the best flavour out. Once this is done you are ready to begin your brew with ease using the Hario V60 Kettle.
The Kettle is made from stainless steel and has an easy grip handle ensuring you get a reliable and consistent brew each time. Although the kettles are listed as a certain volume Hario recommends not filling the kettles all the way to the top so they have a slightly reduced practical volume. For example the 1.2 Litre Kettle has a recommended practical volume of around 800ml.
